  1. You will not go to jail for 10 years if that is what you are worried about

    .. .. ..

The local government will receive the complaint and will issue you an order to remove the tree or else you will be charged for the removal and court cost and a fine for not obeying the order to have the tree you removed taken away

    .. . ..

Kind of like how would you like to go out your front door of your home and notice that  a 2 ton pile of gravel is in your front yard

    .. .. ..

and across the street is a new home being built and you ask what the h**l is this gravel doing in my front yard

    .. . ..

The person having the home built said that they got to much of it and gave it to you free to use as you wanted to use it

    .. .. ..

You say 4,000 pounds of gravel how am I suppose to move it and why would I want it for You got a mess in my front yard now

    .. .. ..

  2. For a tree?

Chop it up for fire wood or post Free Firewood.

    Must be a small tree.

  3. hey, find the nearest owner of a huge lake or fishing pond, and have it dumped in there to the owners liking.....makes a great underwater refuge for fish! And you're merely returning it to its natural enviornment...so the tree huggers can't complain! And other than the fishermen who get their lures tangled in the limbs, they'll love you too!

  4. You're not done with the problem by just paying one fine. You can be fined for each day the tree is left there. Eventually, the municipality will remove it (and dump it back on your land? Probably not. That would be too appropriate) and bill you for the removal.

Cut it to manageable size and set it at the curb as free firewood. Advertise it on craigslist.org. Eventually, someone will take it.

  5. just bring it back in to your yard, and burn it.

Have the neighbors over, Not the ones who left you a note, and with the rest of them, have a cook out.

    Be creative.
