I need to know the pros and cons of each of these dirtbikes. Can you help?

I want a 4 stroke 250. Tell me the pros and cons of each of these bikes : Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki....Dont bother with KTMs i cannot buy one.

all are good bikes with no real problems. the Honda is more reliable over the long term, but it is just personal preference, some have electric start etc, so just get the one you like the best. too bad you can't get the KTM as they are the best around.

HONDA OR YAMAHA... BEST IN RESALE AND RELIABLE. YAMAHA IS THE FASTER SIDE BUT I WOULD RATHER RIDE THE HONDA. THERES ALSO A HONDA WITH DUAL EXHAUST WHICH LOOKS SIC AND GIVES A LITTLE MORE POWER.

They are so comparable that I would buy the one with the dealership closest to me(parts ect)

Any of these brands would do fine for you .  My sons have the crf250r and we have found the bike quite reliable.  The kx250f 2008 model has had really good reviews and I haven't heard anything bad about the yamaha.  The ktm is a fast bike but they really do not handle all that well.  They have a problem with the suspension that Ktm are just trying to ignore.  So I wouldn't bother with one even if you could afford it.  Ktm need to fix the problem but by doing so they would be admitting a problem exists.
