I need to know the requirements for becomeing a Medical School teacher?

Do you have to complete medical school, including residency? What is the procedure? Any help would be appreciated; there is no information on the internet. Thank you!

  1. Odd, but I answered this question yesterday and it isn't here now.

    You can confirm what I tell you by looking at the medical school accreditation authority's web site (Liaison Committee on Medical Eduction).  The credentials for instructors are identified in their publication:  Accreditation Standards.

    Teachers in medical schools are required to have a PhD.  That said, some instructors have Master's, but the Chair of that Department is a PhD and that's the name on the offical roster for that course.


  2. I'm not sure, but for Nursing School, all the teachers had to be RN's with Masters Degree's
