  1. You need to take a Coast Guard course they can teach you>& pay a good mechanic to come over & show you the do's & don'ts of boating>

  2. I gotta tell this story.  I bought a boat years back. Somewhere along the line a seagull feather got stuck to the tip of the gas nozzle sitting on the dock. It was stuck into my fuel tank and

filled up. The feather went into the tank, and wound up stuck in the fuel filter elbow before the fuel filter.  One day after many weeks of having my boat run well then starve for fuel , I took off that elbow, and with some tweezers slowly pulled out

a 6 inch long seagull feather. End of problem.. My point. sounds like all your fluids are fine, It may burn a little oil but just keep it checked each time you fill, along with the other fluids..

And remember to make sure the gas nozzle is always clean before putting that fuel into your new boat. No matter what kind of feather or dirt is on the gas dock..

    Enjoy it

  3. your boat is obviously  proppeled  by an inboard/outboard  motor, The green stuff is  coolant, as in antifreeze. The red power steering. To  winterize  it  the  fluids should me  changed, and the  oil  in the  lower unit   should  also be drained  and changed, The  lower  unit  is where  the gears are that turn the proppeller, The plugs  should  also be removed in winter and a little bit of  oil sprayed into the cylinder heads. Gasoline stabilizer should also be added to the gas tank, and the engine oil and filter should be changed. If its  an outboard  its a different story, and they require  less maintainance
