I need to know what kind of “friendship” bracelet this is and how to make it?

It is like a normal Friendship bracelet but it is not knotted it is more like raped you can put like names in it and stuff. I saw it in Cozumel Mexico and then one of my old teachers made them. I would like to know how to make them.
