I need to know what to add to my 74 dodge 100 custom to make it sound majorly loud

it has a v8 in it and its stock it has one 2.5 pipe on it but i know that aint it i want to add a cherry bomb but i dont know what to add cauz they have all the turbos and stuff.. i need to know what i need to make it loud but not killer killer just killer

have true duals put on it that will make it loud without making it so loud that you cant hear other things,most exhaust shops do dual exhaust on those for about 200 now days with cheap mufflers and the cheaper the muffler the louder it will be,good luck.

i had an 82 caddy eldorado and sounded great with a glasspack.  but you can also put in a good ol exhaust dump, that way you don't get into too much trouble.

Here's something to think about if its a step side-The "Li'l Red Express" trucks built by Dodge in the mid-late '70's had dual upright stacks like on semis right from the factory. They are available from the aftermarket now.Whatever you decide to do, make it a true dual exhaust system like Dodge man says.A single glass pack or turbo muffler is not the way to go.

Take off the muffler. The muffler fell off of our 94 explorer and it is LOUD

A set of Blackjack headers and straight 3 inch pipe with two turbo II mufflers. This will sound throaty and tough but not obnoxious. Probably around $500.00.

you can remove the muffler and just strait pipe it, use a cherry bomb turbo muffler (glasspax)  or the louder version called a purple Horny glasspax.  Be aware too loud is illegal and could result in a ticket
