I need to know what type of wood would be good for...?

a (cheap as can be) sort of hut, maybe a small room, no need for frame work or anything im just doing a little project for outside a airsoft kinda room, i was thinking sheets of long wood for a cheap price maybe a link or two could be helpfull? thank you

What ever you plan to use be aware of termites! Use treated wood anywhere there is to be ground contact and build a frame, then cover with whatever you find to your liking and pocket book.

my be cheaper to make a frame work out of PVC pipe and then use tarps for walls and or roof

Im gonna guess here.. but if you are putting up an airsoft area outside your house.. then maybe you live on a big property... which means MAYBE you live in a rural area where you can find a saw mill?  My advice would be, if its possible, to drive to the nearest sawmill and ask to haul away their cheap throwaway peices (usually still have raw bark on the outside of the slices).

   Saw mill slice, best bet if you are around one.

Any kind of wood will rot if left exposed to the weather,unless you use redwood,cypress or teak witch are all very expensive.

Your best bet is getting yellow pine 2x4 ,cover them with 1/2 plywood and cover that with tar paper and asphalt shingles.

The 2x4 should be nailed 16"apart to an horizontal 2x4 on the bottom and one on the top.
