I was wondering who was the first person that told the public that humans were animals too instead of some sort of superior being.

  1. It was one of Satan's lies he put into Darwin's consciences so Darwin could deceive the world and lie and say Creation is not real.

  2. Charles Darwin?

  3. I am sure this happened before written history started.  Lots of prehistoric cultures have no problem seeing humans as just another animal, and have a very hard time with the European cultures that insist humans are special.

In ancient Greece someone described humans as featherless bipeds, making them brothers to a plucked chickens.

  4. Didn't James Darwin build this theory? If so then here is a note for you to put into your library and perhaps the only person whom may look into this further since it pertains to the evolution of humans. At the time when Darwin was developing the theory of human evolution a familiar friend of Mr. Darwin named Herbert W. Armstrong whom was about Darwin's age proved to Mr. Darwin that God created humans, and Darwin knowingly accepted this as being true after Darwin studied Mr. Armstrong's view. The answer from Mr. Armstrong was quoted; "study the eyeball." Mr. Darwin said to Armstrong; "I know you are right beyond a doubt but I cannot throw away a lifetime of studies." With this reply both men went about their ways. Mr. Armstrong became the pastor general of the Worldwide Church of God and the president of the Ambassador College in San Diego, Ca. also in Big Sandy Texas. Mr. Armstrong died in the early 1980's I have one of his books in my collection titled; The Incredible Human Potential. If you request some more info about the book then E-mail;  larrysr@adams.net or write; L. E. Smith Sr. p.o. 201 Mendon,Illinois 62351.  Good Luck to your efforts. 5. Humans are animals & from what I see on answers, many are not very bright ones at that.

    Larry:

As for the eye... this started out as light sensitive spots on microbes with nerves connecting them to the central nervous system, they then became directionally sensitive as the spots became sunken.  As the eye evolved (we have plenty of examples if one cares to research this) more cells developed & crude images were possible.  Later, the lens developed. I could go on, but I doubt it would be appreciated.

I suspect Darwin was the 1st to indicate that humans were animals in print... but that would have been obvious to any student of biology.

  6. As far as I know, Carolus Linneaus was the first to classify humans under his taxonomic system of binomial nomenclature.  Since he classified humans in the kingdom Animalia, he provided the first official classification of humans as animals.

  7. I think it was something like 14.000 years ago

when a cave wife named Maar Taa  Stu  Arr Taa

(known far and wide for her emaculate cave keeping skills)

got really tired of her husband Ogg Da Tuggg tracking

mud and muck from the swamp through their cave everyday

She had begged and pleaded to no avail ---

One day she commented at the community Saber Tooth Roast that --- " my husband is nothing more than an Absolute Animal"  --- no manners, doesn't give a T-Rex's behind for nothing but himself !!"

I think that this is the very first incident of someone calling another human --- an absolute animal !!!

    (btw--- Ogg never changed)

  8. I guess Darwin was the first revolutionary thinker of evolution.

Sounds like the girl with the answer above didn't eat enough chocolate today.  I can feel the love she has.

  9. More than like a woman, because as you know most men are dogs!
