I need to learn how to dance?

Question

I go clubbing every weekend but my dancing is pathetic. Its jus basic pop/dance/club music but all I can seem to do is move a little bit and I dont even dare to try and dance unless I have a drink in my hand. Anywhere online I can learn some simple moves or anybody who could tell me?

find some music videos on online or t.v and you can  probably pick up a few dance moves or dance classes

Mirrors are the simplest answer. Play the same type music the clubs you go to play. And while you are by yourself you can dance in front of the mirror and see yourself. Decide what you like and practice incorporating it into your style. I was a dancer and choreographer for years and that's how I did it. Main thing is to have fun. Best wishes.

I never was taught how to dance, but I dance very well, and have gotten many compliments, and many dance partners that way.  How did I do it?  I dance as if no one can see me.  I take the music into my soul, and I move my body to the music as it strikes me.  But, if you want to be taught the moves, you can go to a dance studio, and learn.  Arthur Murray studios are all over the place:

In clubs you don't really dance you kinda just move...but to learn how to dance you should take a ballet or jazz class..hah

Join some clubs from wherever you are. Try to learn how to do pop, liquid, and digits.

Here's an idea.  Go to Blockbuster's, or Barnes and Noble's website, and look for DVDs for rent or sale.  I know Blockbuster has DVDs to learn dance by.  Barnes and Noble sells them, but may rent as well.  Check them out.
