My answer is GOOD LUCK. If you need JUST THE BASICS, look for a SUZUKI PIANO book. That should get you a real healthy head start. If you are trying to become a Van Cliburn, forget it. It won't happen. You need a rudimentary knowledge. The question I would have is WHY? I can only assume you are trying to become a music major. They have a piano class which will teach you basics. I think you may be just blowing a  cork here.
