I need to learn quickly about the engines of street racing cars?

I'm doing a report on street racing car engines and I know nothing about even normal car engines. HELP!!!

Write your report on the negativity of street racing instead.  I was arrested for and also lost a friend in an accident.  Street racing dangerous.  Or write a report on the engines of cars that race at at track.  Dont support street racing!
