I need to leave my laptop at home, but still be able to hear the audio from it. Any Suggestions?

This site has nice write up on how to stream audio over internet. You may need few networking skills though to open TCPIP ports.

You give very little information, like what operating system, what kind of audio (mp3 files? music streams?). Anyways, gnump3d seems to work rather well for me to access my mp3 files over an internet connection.
