I need to lern to play the guitar?

Question

i overheard my ggirlfrend talking to her frend about how she wishes i would playthe guitar for her, but i have no idea how. my family cant afford lessons, and i would need to lern as fast as possible. i have always been rly excellent at teaching myself how to play an insturement, but can i do that with a guitar? also, wheree can i get a guitar? i rly want to make my girlfrend happy, so how do i lern to play this wonderful instrument?

Any music store that sells instruments will sell guitars.

Unfortunately, guitar is a very complex instrument, but you can teach yourself...to an extent.

Use cyberfret.com and click on Beginner Guitar Lessons under the section Learn Guitar.

well if you ask me, she should love you no matter what. maybe it was just a thought, all girls wish their boyfriend would do SOMETHING different  at least once in their relationship.

but i know a kid who taught himself how to play but you need to know what keys and chords make the right sound otherwise it wont work. its extremely difficult to teahc yourself. if you have a friend or family member who can play take lessons from them for free

i was about to take guitar lessons and called the place they said get a guitar around 150-200 or more. if its cheaper, then it sounds like c**p. and walmart guitars sound liek c**p. so dont get it from any of there. you can go to places in the mall or Guitar City or a music store. hope i helped. also. on youtube theres videos of how to play some songs, like hey there delilah, and theres also CDs for like $20 at guitar stores that teach you how to play it.

Guitar Center is the best place to get guitars... they will hook you up!! and bokks are also fine to learn with, thats what i learned with... now im lead guitarist a couple of months later... and if this doesnt keep you with ur girlfriend it will get you another one!!!:)
