I need to make Whipped cream but have no mixer?

Im making a strawberrys shortcake today and i just preapared all of the strawberrys i need to whipp the cream although i dont have a mixer however i do have a egg whiskeer and a blender do you think any two of these will work if so how long should i blend it and whisk it?

  1. You need a whisk and some muscles!

    Just whisk and  whisk and whisk. Don't stop, kep the bowl cold in an ice bath.

  2. You can put cream in a jar with a s***w on lid and shake it for 5 minutes.  

  3. The blender will not work, the whisker will.  It is not so much a matter of time as getting the right consistency as many factors such as temperature can make a difference in length of time to beat.

    (note: mentioning temperature, cold bowls and whisks work best, you may even freeze them shortly).

    You will look for the cream to about double in volume, be smooth and form mounds/billows, with stiff or soft peaks upon removing the whisks.  If you have soft peaks don't aim for stiff ones as you want to be sure not to over beat.  Overbeating will yeild a very sweet butter.
