I need to make a few garden covers...

Question

I need to make a cover for the times when i am not using it. I was thinking some type of tarp?

But I need to cover a wide range. There are 15 plots I need to cover (Approx 1700 square ft)

Any good ideas for what i can do?

are you just trying to avoid weed growth?.... tarps and plastic covers are going to dry out the ground and starve the soil for oxygen, too.... there are better ways to keep weeds down without killing off all the microbial life and worms and good bugs that live in the soil.....

Tarps will work. You can also go to a store like Home Depot or Lowes (somewhere that sells painting supplies) and buy a large roll of heavy duty plastic. You can cut the plastic to what sizes that you need. And it is cheaper than tarps if you compare how much you would spend on the tarps to a roll or two of the platic.

Just use some stakes or garden staples to keep the sheets from flying off. You can also use some potted plants or landscaping timbers or stones to hold it down.
