  1. Headbands and craft foam, both can be found at the dollar store.  you can even paint the headbands what ever color you nned ( like the color of the childs hair, so it is not so noticeable)

  2. I made my son a costume that one a contest and I only used old socks with magic marker, and pinned them onto a headband. they hung down like dog ears.

You can also just twist fabric on the top of a hairband too for other animal ears. Felt works well since its stiff.

  3. paper plates

  4. All you have to do is get a piece of paper glue and markers.  Make ears and just glue them up.  Thats all you need.  The kids will like it.

  5. For our Kindergarten play, we use headbands from the dollar store (multi-packs for $1...so cheap!) and then we make a tracer for each ear shape, and cut out a bunch from either construction paper or sheets of felt.  Either way, we glue them to the headband.  OR...you could make a headband out of long sheets of construction paper and connect them with a rubberband stapled to each end, so that it circles the child's head and is adjustable sized.

    Good luck!

  6. You can glue construction paper to cardboard.  You can use the cardboard from cereal boxes.  It's sturdy, but still flexible and easy to cut.
