talk to friends that have a job and see if theres positions open there and see if they can put a good word in for you. if you have someone that recommends you, you have a better chance of getting a job. also explain to the boss that it is you're first job and you are looking for experience and some money to help pay for rent

Start at a supermarket, or a fast food restaurant and work your way up.

oh boy try to put off the kicking out first. go on job search sites...i dont' really know what country you're in so i can't really help you. but if you go to the mall or something they have help wanted signs up, get ur resume ( hope you have one, if not get a template from the web and make one) and drop them off at all the stores. good luck

Call around and find your local temp agency,its super easy to start out there until you go on to something bigger and better,and if your looking for places to live go on Craigslist! that's where i found my first place and furniture

or if you have  a job and need some extra money try asking around if anyone needs therye house cleaned for a little money,or maybe applying at the mall for a part time job on the weekend,because most likely that's when any place there will want you to work
