I need to no a bank in london that will allow me to open an account without having photo i.d?

i am starting a new job and i do not have a passport or a drivers license and i need to open an account a.s.a.p .i have a birth certificate and a medical card,i also have bill statements in my name and address.i was thinking maybe there might be some sort of document that i could get and attatch my passport size photo to and get someone of a professional status that knows me to sign it for me to say that they have known me for so long and i am who i say i am i.e my doctor or priest or former employer

  2. Good luck with that. You almost always have to have a photo ID for banking purposes. Have tried opening a bank account on-line?

  3. The Government requires that you provide proof of identity and proof of address.  This is to prevent money laundering.

    To confirm who you are, we need one of the following:

        * Full UK passport.

        * Full foreign passport.

        * Passport in old name (must have supporting document regarding change of name, eg marriage certificate, Decree Nisi with birth certificate or Deed Poll document).

        * UK driving licence: Paper version - full licence only. Photocard version - full and provisional.

        * Blue Disabled driver's pass (must be current).

        * European Union member state identity card.

        * Firearms licence (must be current).

        * Police warrant card.

        * UK Armed Forces ID card.

    To confirm where you live, we need one of the following:

        * UK driving licence with current address: Paper version - full licence only. Photocard version - full and provisional. (Cannot be used if it has already been used for ID).

        * European Union member state identity card (if not used as ID).

        * UK bank statement - no older than three months (Internet statements are not acceptable).
