  1. I completely agree that  you need to constantly get rid of the stuff you are not going to use again. Be brutal. But if everything has a "home" for when it is no longer in use, your cleaning becomes so much more simplified. You can donate the baby stuff you are never going to use to a non-profit which will  hopefully make you not feel so bad.

  2. I so remember those days..

Perhaps my experience can give you ideas..

I found that keeping all baby care products in specific area was good decision on my part. It is hard to not do the changing etc.. in different areas of the home, however it is much easier to keep it in the same place and do it in that space. Mmm hope that made sense to you lol.

Bathing supplies can be kept in bath space.

Toys can be put in a basket or container keep those toys that are used only in the space you choose.

I had toys for the living area and toys for the play area.

Toys for on the go kept in diaper bag station or bag.

Toys for interaction with my baby/child kept in a basket and easy to transport to another space.

These toys were put away as child grew and some donated.

    Clothing too.

We had the good fortune to have a children's second hand store that gave me points and I could do trading.

Toys were kept in there respective place. My children grew to keep this going in there own lives as the matured.

An idea is to ask your self questions about the objects.

Do I plan to use this item?

Am I keeping it because someone gave it to me?

Is this item something useful, but something that you have multiples of?

    (hint)

A photo and a written memory is much easier to store than an object.

Even clothing that holds memories is much better as a written memory.
