I just tried to pay my $2135 fee by this thing called epay my college has online and my card was declined. I called my bank and they said I could only spend $1000 a day with my check card and the day after I spent $1000 I would have to call the bank and make sure it went through, and then wait another day. so according to them I have to pay $1000, wait 2 days and then make the next payment. but I dont have time to do that, and I just ran out of paper checks too! what do I do to get my money to my college before july 25th??

  1. Do you have online bill pay with your account?  If so, most colleges and universities accept online payments.

  2. Either go into your bank and withdrawl the cash or have a them issue an official check. Either one will work. I recommend the check even though it might have a fee because you never know what some guy with 2k cash will do. You say I paid it he said sorry not showing up.

If you are attending school in a town no where near your bank then withdrawl the max limit from the ATM on 2 seperate days and then use your card to its full limit with the cash you withdrew before. You have a limit of 500 cash per business day on your card and generally 2k for credit (yours must only have 1k).

  3. I do not understand what you are saying.  Do you have unlimited funds in that account???? It depends on how much money you have in that account.  It sounds like it is an account controlled by somebody else.  If the account is yours and yours alone I do not understand it.  Perhaps YOU do not understand what kind of account theat it is...

I will be happy to help if I had the right answers.....

  4. If you can get a hold of your bank, you can have them use a bankwire to the college or a bank near you. Talk to the a manager at the bank and explain your situation. They should work with. If not tell them you'll be taking your banking elsewhere. You could also have it western union or fed ex overnight to get the bank draft there. Also if there is a branch of your bank that you can physically get to go in person and withdraw the money out of the account and pay your school.

  5. You can get cashier's check or money order, and overnight it to the school.  DHL prepaid overnight is the least expensive, and will be delivered by 10:30 the next morning.

You can also see if they allow use of routing number, plus account number, so that you can send by ACH.

To cover yourself, see if you can send them fax copy of the cashier's check/money order, with copy of the DHL ticket.

  6. Go to the billing office, talk to an advisor and explain to them your issue. Then ask for some kind of extension, they will more than likely grant you the time you need. Next time however, it might be a wise choice to plan alittle further ahead. Not everyone will wait for their money.

  7. Go into the bank and withdraw the money if you don't want cash tell them to give you a bank check.  Have to watch out for those debit cards, they have a max amount on them just like taking out cash from an ATM

Sounds like she has the money in the bank she is using a check card and they have limits on how much you can withdraw a day.  Go into the bank

  8. Mail money orders.  And next time, make sure you have paper checks.

  9. contact your bank and have them "lift" the card limit for 24 hours. you might have to walk in the bank and sign a consent form. Otherwise do as the others suggested and get a cashiers check and drive it over to your college. don't do a money order because it can only go up to 500.00
