I need to print a quick books report of all checks written this year that does not include payroll.

  1. Why do you need this report?

    What version of QB are you running?

    Things are easier is you have the PRO version and can "EXPORT" your reports into Excel for sorting, but it's not necessary.

    Along the top, click on "REPORTS"

    Then, click on "Accountant and Taxes"

    Then, click on "General Ledger"

    Choose the right dates for the report.

    Click "Modify Report"

    Click 'Filters"

    Open the box that says "All Accounts"

    Scroll down and click on your checking account

    Go back to the little filter box that starts with "Accounts"

    Scroll down to "Transaction Type" and click on it

    Now go back to the box that now says "Transaction Type" and open it up. Click on "Multiple transaction types"

    then pick the ones you want - probably just "check": and "Bill Payment"

    The click on OK.
