You just missed one by not including the full web address in your request.

If you are a myspace or facebook memeber those are good free places. Use your website address in your post tagline.

Put your website address in your signature on every email you send.

Ask any friend you have who has a web page to put a link on their page to your page.

Participate in discussions on twitter or friendfeed and mention your address often.

Listens to podcasts and call in or send them questions mentioning you site.  If Leo Laporte mentions you ... your site will go down immediately from all the hits.

Participate in relevant forums with a focus on the same topics as you and link to their sites that cover the same or related topics on your website.

Use words in your people might actually search for ... for instance if your site was about aspirin some relevant terms might be Bayer, Excedrin, St. Joesph&#039;s, Aleve, Goody&#039;s ... etc .

Digg or comment on articles you see that are interesting and put your website address in the comments.

Finally ... but most important ... HAVE GOOD CONTENT!
