Who of these is better for advertising; Yahoo or Google?

Are there any other search engines that people preffer over the above?

Submitting on Search Engines alone will not bring you all that traffic you want, do you know how many sites on the same niche as yours there are submitted in the SE? you will be competing against all of them.

If you want good traffic you need to promote your site. There's a good guide to generate or increase your traffic here: http://traffic-tips-and-tricks.blogspot.... The tips described there are quite simple but very effective.Check out tip number 5, it will help you rank high on search engines in a relatively small amount of time.

And if you're willing to invest some time into it you should also consider reading the book "Guerrilla Marketing" by Jay Conrad Levinson, it tells you a lot of practical and effective ways to market your business for very little or no money at all.

both are good but google gets more searches, i would suggest not subitting to any search engines but linking to sites and they will find you this way you will not get seen by search engines as new.
