I need to put ringtones on my iphone. i have used myxer and ventones?

After the upload it opens the file on my phone as a quicktime file. Yes when i upload it's a mp3. some one please help. i have $$$$$. lol. Even when i open on my computer it's a quick time file. Oh yeah i'm using a Mac

The only site that works for the Iphone is Ventones because you can convert ringtones that you make , into Iphone ringtones. You can't do that on Myxertones

Additionally, you're not doing it right. I also have an Iphone with a Mac. You can't download it from the link Ventones sends. You need to transfer the file with the cable and Itunes. And it can't be the mp3 file. In other words, if you're downloading it from the link they send, you're not doing it right. This is what you need to do

all you do is this.

1) download your favorite song from limewire or your favorite mp3 downloading program

1a) if you bought a song from Itunes, first convert it to mp3 , because you as the owner of the song, are the only one that can legally do the conversion. And you can't upload the itunes to Ventones.

here is a tutorial that i googled, basically you need to burn the itunes track to a CD, then rip it with Itunes to mp3.

2) upload the mp3 file and use Ventone's FREE Ringtone Creator

3) after you've made your mp3 ringtone, go to your "My Ventones" page where you will see your list of created ringtones. Click on the ringtone,

4) That will take you to the ringtone page, scroll all the way to the bottom, where you will see a link that says

"Click here For your Iphone Ringtone"

5) Click on that, and in seconds you will get a link for your Iphone ringtone download. Download the file onto your computer.

6) Go to itunes, and Import the iphone ringtone that you downloaded from Ventones and you will automatically see it listed under Ringtones category in iTunes.

7 ) Connect your iPhone and Sync the Ringtones.
