  1. Just be honest, tell her you are pregnant and that it is taking a toll on your body. Also let her know you didn't know what you were in for when you started because obviously it's your first kid (I am hoping). But yeah honesty. you might have a chance to get your job back after pregnancy.

  2. thats how all jobs r when u 1st start and u haven't worked in a while give it another week at least so u can buy the baby some stuff and in the job, they may hold the job for u r give u the wkends and less hrs.

  3. cant you ask for a seat???

  4. A fatigue mat for standing on may help, but also, being able to sit briefly may be neccessary.  Talk to your boss first about possible options they can provide.  It may be possible that you may not be able to work until after the baby is born, and by talking to them now, they may hold a job for you and instead of quitting, they may grant you a leave of absence.

  5. lol you dont need to quit....give it at least another week or two, your body is just sore cuz you're just starting. give it some time. its actually BETTER that you are getting some sort of excercise, it will be easier for your labor and recovery time.

i know it sucks, but you just gotta deal with it.

    EDIT-

your lower back pain IS NOT hurting your baby. its making you uncomfortable, but not hurting your baby. you should really talk to your doctor and find out more about these things, its important to know in pregnancy.

  6. why do you need an excuse?

Just write a note giving your two weeks notice and say "This job is no longer fitting my needs, thank you for the experience, it has been a pleasure working here"

don't burn any bridges, you might want to get your job back later or need a good recommendation.

EDIT: Lower back pain hurts YOU, not the baby.  Yes it sucks, but it's not putting your baby in danger.  If they can make reasonable accomodations (fatigue mat, stool to sit on, more frequent breaks) for you that's great, but if not, you just suck it up and either work or put in your two weeks notice (but be aware you'll have a hard time finding a job while pregnant).  I worked as a CNA until I was 8 months pregnant with my son, my back ached the whole time, my feet were so swollen at the end of my 12hour shifts I couldn't get my shoes off, but I needed the money, and my son was just fine.

  7. I know it prolly sux to quit your job! Tell her that your legs hurt all the time and ask her if you could sit down once and a while or youll quit! Good luck! Congrats on your pregnancy! :)

  8. I'm sorry but you need to suck it up and work, hun. I worked 10 hours a day 6 days a week up until 2 weeks before I had my son because I needed to save money to provide for him! I was working in daycare M-F taking care of 8 toddlers, picking them up, crawling around on the floor picking up toys, etc. Then I was working at a department store on Saturdays where I was on my feet the entire time except for my lunch break. I also walked to and from work every day. It wasn't fun but that's what parents have to do. You're complaining after ONE day of work?? Give me a break, what are you going to do when the baby gets here and your a million times more exhausted?? Just not feed it? Sorry, I really don't mean to be so harsh- I know you're in a tough spot but you desperately need a reality check. I'm not sure if you really understand what you've got yourself into.
