I need to raise money locally. Help?

Question

I live in Union City but I want to have a car wash and sell tasty treats somewhere in Hayward, Castro Valley, or Pleasenton. I want it to be at a public pool. and it is a last minute thing.. so i need a place where i dont need to get permission or anything.. i need advise on places and tasty treats.. oh, and good stores to buy really good car cleaning supplies if anyone knows some..

I would think anywhere in the general public you are going to need permssion. You might try a car wash in a high school or church parking lot...you'll still need to get permission.

Tasty treats? Are you making homemade treats? Brownies, Rice Krispy bars, candies etc. However, I'm not sure that homemade treats are going to sell well to the general public. I live in San Jose and I know I would NOT purchase homemade food from the general public.

For cleaning supplies try Kragen's, Target, or Walmart in the car department.

If you plan to run a car wash at a public place, you're going to need permission.

Try to get all your volunteers to bring along a bucket and some cleaning rags. Then all you'll need to buy is some bottles of cleaning solution.
