I need to recuperate from a long serious illness. Where can I travel to? Has anyone any ideas?

I need a good old fashioned spell of recuperation. Somewhere I can relax and gather myself back together again. It could be in the Uk (I live in Scotland) or abroad, but I need to be able to recover without too many demands.

Can anyone suggest anywhere?

What do you find demanding?  I take it the fact you said could be abroad means distance isn't a problem.  A trip as far as I can see is demanding as you make it, if you go to Egypt you can lounge around all you want you don't have to see the pyramids.

Coz my name is Catriona too, but is pronounced like Katrina and people are always getting it wrong.
