I need to relocate to another state. How do I find a job?

I have a bit of time, but I want to make some connections before I go. I'll be graduating with an English degree, doing PR, buisness writing, biography, and editing.

What are some job sites that i can use to prepare?

What makes you happy, make a decision about where you want to live and who you want to be with.  Then start googling the state for jobs, you'll eventually find it

I would use Careerbuilder, Monster, and other job sites and put in the city you are relocating to. Then make several appointments for interviews and spend a few days in the city you are relocating too. While there check out staffing agencies as well they can help you find a job in your new city.

Also look at salary.com to find a salary range for the type of jobs you want and add the city location to get an idea of the range for that area.
