  1. No "tricks" to hide your credit.  You may have better luck with a private landlord.

  2. You have to rent a home in areas where no one cares about your credit.   The very low income, high crime neighborhoods are hard to fill and the landlords tend not to check credit and criminal histories.

  3. No tricks, your credit is what it is.

Hope someone will take a chance on you - offer a guarantor - offer a double security deposit.

Decent people do not try to trick others into renting to them by attempting to hide derogatory credit.

  4. I'm a landlord.  You may want to talk to private landlords.  I would listen to you.  I won't rent if i feel that you are trying to hide something from me. I can always tell.  Tell your whole story.  I want honest and honorable people to live in my rental.  /
