I need to rent a room for living (3 months) in Toronto. Which is the cheaper way?

Hi everybody!

I´ll stay in Toronto as a tourist for 3 months and need to rent cheap.

Somebody told me something about the YMCA and basements for rent....are these a good options?

What do you suggest?

Places like www.craigslist.com have an option in the 'housing' section labelled 'short- term housing' or something like that... a lot of people are looking for temporary roommies... look around, maybe in the newspaper there or something. Good luck!
