What should I use to fill the holes in it? These holes were made by dart points. The darts missed the board and hit the wall.

The apartment is on rent and the repairs need to be carried out before the keys are returned to the office. The wall is wooden.

  1. For a wooden wall, use wood filler.  It is a thick paste-like substance and can be purchased in a tub (~ 1quart) or a squeezable tube like toothpaste.  Filling the holes is easy, just use your finger, and a putty knife.  Smooth the surface, and remove as much extra with the putty knife before it dries.  Use a fine sanding sponge after it does dry to sand the surface smooth.

All parts should be available at your hardware store, for about $10 total.

Most every wood filler is stainable and paintable, depending on how much effort you wish to put into finishing.

  2. 2 part wood filler, you can buy it at any diy store and it comes in various shades, mix a little and smooth it over the holes removing any excess, wait for it to dry them lightly sand

  3. wood filler, bondo, fix-all.. all that would work. but seriously, for cheap and easy. i say you just buy some caulk, shoot it into the holes, and smooth it with your finger. smooth, and good as new. plus less mess and no mixing.

  4. you said wooden is it stained or what go to lowes or home depot get wood filler comes in a variety of colors to match stains.comes in small cans in paint dept....later

  5. wood filler.  it comes in tubs and tubes.  the tubes sometimes come in colors so that you can more accurately match your wood.

get a spackle blade and get to work, then sand lightly to even off.
