I need to replace my diving certification card and don't know how..?

while staying in Orlando after hurricane CHARLIE my wallet was stolen. My card was in it. I have tried to contact Hal Watts diving but they are no longer around ?? How do I replace my certification card ???

  1. If you had a PADI C-card, then PADI should still have your details on record. If you remember where you got certified, ideally the name of your certifying instructor, and the date of certification (year is good, month and day even better), then there is a good chance that they can issue you a replacement.

    You can download the necessary form from

    www.padi.com.

    Once you're on the front page, select your language (English is default), and click on the 'Learn to dive' option. The next window that opens up should have a bar across the bottom with further links. Click on 'C-cards' and then download the 'replacement card request' form. Fill it in and send it off (with a passport-type ID photo) to

    Customer Service Department

    CA 92688

    USA

    This service costs US$35 (you give your credit card details on the form).

    You can also go through a local PADI dive shop, but you will still have to pay for the replacement (and it may cost you more than doing it direct).
