Right click my computer/properties/disk clean up. And then go to remove programs and take out everything you don't use. Defag won't gain you any space. There's always external hdd's memory sticks etc.

delete your temporary internet files. it will clear up plenty of space.

You may have various temporary files, registry errors, and such.

I would suggest using Piriform CCleaner

It's freeware and will clean up your registry, delete temporary files, and many other things. Hopefully that will amount to 5%!

All of your temporary stuff.

Luckily, there's a nifty little program called CCleaner which will do all of this for you! Make sure to select "Prefetch Data" also under things to clear, it's surprising how much space can be occupied by cached files.

Delete your pictures and music.  Those take up quite a bit of space.

Technically, you can still run defrag with w.e little space you ahve left... Just be prepared to wait a VERY, VERY long time.

Btw, programs like CCleaner from filehippo.com should be able to help you clearing out that unneeded stuff your computer hordes during its time on the internet.

Very simple question has a simple answer....

Get rid of or burn to disc, anything you don't actually want anymore (Games/Music/Photos/Software). Fill those discs up with everything that you want to keep and have the option to use again. Having a cluttered storage is better than a cluttered hard drive. :)

Go to my computer and right click on ur partitioned drive liek C and go to properties and find disk cleanup and usually that will clean it all up.

then defragment might take a few hrs watch an see what happens.

Delete ur user documents as the other files are important. Delete documents movies music  ect...
