  1. Wiping it down with antibacterial wipes, then cleaning it like it should be normally cleaned is fine. Throw out the reed and stick the mouth piece in some alcohol. Call a music store to double check if none of these answers do it for you.

  2. First throw out the reed then take the mouth peice and rub it down with alcohol and water mixed together and let it dry after it drys take a soft cloth and wipe it down.

  3. The best way to ask the teacher of the band in her music class. You can also go to the music store and they will tell you how to clean the instrument without causing the damage.

    Good luck ;)

  4. She'll need a new reed, for sure.  Those can't be sanitized properly without causing problems.  They're not too terribly expensive, as you replace them often anyway.  Other than that, the main part to wash is the mouthpiece.  That's usually plastic, so you can hand wash it with antibacterial or disinfectant soap.  If you're still worried, sanitize it with a bleach water solution.  Make sure you rinse it afterward.

  5. wipe it down as you can and then get the anti bacterial spray and spary as many times a days as you fill necessary untils she is better

  6. I used to use listerine, the clear kind.

  7. the first answer said it competely right

  8. You need to replace the reed for sure and I believe you can clean the mouthpiece with rubbing alcohol.

  9. Just worry about the mouthpiece. Clean with a sanitzing cloth and replace the reed.
