I need to send a package to china.. How do I do that is it diffrent than sending things within the us?

take it to a U P S store and they'll explain it all and box it along with shipping it!

Take it to a UPS Store or any shipping store and they will charge you an arm & a leg.

BEST:

Box it just like you are mailing within the US. Use a clean box without any CAUTION type markings. No wrapper or string. Use packing tape, NO masking or scotch tape.

Label it exactly like normal.

When you get to the post office they will give you a CUSTOMS FORM.

This will require you to disclose all the contents of the box and the value of items.

Two things to remember:

Value will require recipients to possibly pay for customs charges in order to receive package. No way around this.

Decreasing value may be important if insurance claim needs to be filed for whatever reason.
