I need to send cash to an account in dubai,from my account in UTI bank.how can i do it?

My home branch is UTI,chennai.and its a student account.i din use it for a long time so i couldnt keep the minimum balance.now im earning and want to sent my dad my first salary.when i went to the FOREX guys in UTI they sed its not possible cuz i din keep my min. balance.i deposited the entire amount in that account(Rs.14000).i need to send it somehow.please tell me how.i am bangalore now.can it be sent thru western union or any other bank forex?please help.

I thnk you should be able to wire the money across at a branch of the Western Union.
