  1. the problem is with just putting the money in an envelope is  that i got a birthday card from my gramdpa, that had 20$ in it, and when i got it, it was slit open , thats the problem with sending money. Anyways  u dont need to go throug the post office to send money

  2. I would send it by recorded delivery so it has to be signed for by the recipient.

Or had you thought about postal orders...ask at the post office.

  3. how much are you sending? I persoanlly won't send cash over mail since there's a risk of it being stolen...

Try getting a money order for less than a dollar at the PO, you can designate it to a person so only that person can cash it in...

  4. I'm sure you know this but it is never a good idea to send cash in the mail, however, I would put it in a card and then send it. But you don't need to do anything at the post office.

You can't send a money order, or western union, money gram or wire transfer it? It's just safer that way. But whatever you decide to do hope it gets to the person that it needs to get to.

  5. Buy a postal money order while at the post office.

  6. It's not safe to put cash in the mail.

Because if the envelope disappears or gets opened by a dishonest person IT'S GONE.

A postal money order (Bought at the post office) Is safer.

The person you are sending it can cash it at their post office.

But if you absolutely have to send cash.

Best to place the cash between two index cards or a greeting card then put in a security lined envelope.

Postage as normal and mail it.
