I need to shrink my knickers!?

Question

Silly me, i bought my knickers in too big a size, and I can no longer take them back to the shop, so I am attemping some DIY shrinkage and need some advise from fellow knicker-shrinkers.

They are: 93% Polyester

4% Elastane

3% Cotton

Any advise such as whether to machine/ handwash/ tumble dry/ the optimum temperature would be great!

Plenty of advice on how to shrink your knickers are you poor and can't afford new ones the right size? perhaps your a student , anyway if you are not successful in shrinking stitch in some elastic at the sides, although I think the joints might show though you clothes. why not go native and wear a long dress and no knickers, I suppose it might be a lot cooler.

like take them in a bit at the sides.

Boil wash them - very hot water (this is not environmentally friendly) and then put them in the dryer for 20 mins - (also not good ecologically) but they will shrink!

Lol hot wash and tumble dry should do the trick. Or you could just buy some new ones!

try washing them in really hot water and then put them in tumble dryer i did some of mine by mistake and they shrank quite a bit
