Question:

I need to start going to bed earlier...?

As we all know school is unfortunately starting up once more and that means getting up earlier. Well, I am personally a night owl and go to bed at around... 4:00 or 5:00. And I wake at 12:00 - 2:00 in the afternoon.

I have a terrible sleep pattern, yes. Well, I need to get to bed at around 11:00 to get up at 6:30 in the morning. I need to ease back into my regular sleep schedule and I need to do it before the end of the week.

Any help?

  1. well you only the person can help that,.. just go early in bed,. be motivated just got to think that you don't want to feel c**p the next day nothing can beat a good sleep you feel so much better you'll have a good energy as well when you get up early after having a decent sleep,.

    This shares with my own person experience! What I did was sleep past 4 AM and keep yourself awake until 7 PM (If you can... the latest you could stay up).

    Then you sleep and wake up early because your body will make you!

    Believe me, this helps majorly. So basically:

    STAY AWAKE: 12 AM till 7 PM

    SLEEP: 7 PM until (time you want!)

  4. I don't suggest sleeping pills at all, because they are easy to misuse. It seems to me like you have jetlag, but without the Jet. All you need to do is go to sleep when you feel sleepy up until about Wednesday. Then, on Thursday, make sure you wake up early, and that you're sleepy all day Thursday. This will send your body a message that says it NEEDS to go to bed around eleven. You'll get into the routine. It's not difficult. Just make sure your body wants to go to bed around eleven, and it will do what it feels. Hope I helped!

  6. well before you start school you need to get a good sleep pattern you do not want to be trying to sleep at 11 pm the day before school

    for example your starting school thursday

    go bed late and get up early on wedenesday

    then you will be tired by 10.30

    and you will fall in a regular sleep pattern

  7. Go to bed at 4:00am, as you say, and set your alarm for 6:30, and get up. You sure as h**l wont like it but it means  you'l be dead sleepy come 11pm, and you'l get to sleep right away. (with your 6:30am alarm on) and basically do the same thing over and over and make your brain get used to that kind of sleping pattern again
