I need to switch airports during connecting flight?

I fly to Florida on the 12th

my connecting flight is in DC

my problem is I Fly into Washington Dulles

3 hours later, I leave from Washington National

Is there some sort of shuttle service?????

How am I supposed to do this?????

  1. first are you sure your flight are from different airports?

    as 3 hours is NOT enough time to get from Dulles to National

    (then you would have to go though TSA security all over again as well

    (which could take at least a  1/2 to 1 hour at national

    although washingotn flyer (which just  a taxi service

    for $58.00


  2. Are you going to check luggage, and if so, will it be checked through to your destination in Florida?

    If you have to claim your luggage at Dulles, that will make the connection even tighter. But what you need to do, and do very quickly, is claim your bags at Dulles (if necessary), follow the signs for Ground Transportation, take a taxi to National, explaining to the driver what time your flight is and giving him a good tip, and hope you make it to your flight in time. The taxi will cost about $60 before the generous tip you give the driver. Expect the cab ride to take about an hour.

    Washington Flyer used to have a shuttle service for Dulles to National, but now it's strictly taxi service.
