I need to switch off my passenger airbag in my Ford Mondeo 2003 plate.?

Ford garage tell me they can't do it, but maybe an unofficial garage could. Is it just that Ford won't do it, or is it not possible on this model of car. I know you can do it on the more recent models.

  1. Leave the airbag on, and put children in the back seat where it is safer for them to travel.


  2. It is very simple, if the vehicle has no switch then it cannot be done legally and if you should find someone to do it for you that would be illegal and that company or person would assume full responsibility for that vehicle and you and your passengers injuries and or death due to turning it off and no one that I know will do that where I live..........

  3. It is not legal to shut it off, and then comes the liability monster around the corner.

    WHy would you need it shut off?
