I need to tow a 1996 nissan 200sx with a 2004 Ford F-150. Uhaul won't rent me a tow dolly ($160) and I need a trailer ($321) because of ground clearance issues. I also have a tow bar that I was going to use. Should I go for the tow bar which I already have or should I use the trailer? Im traveling from Austin,TX to Tucson, AZ.

  1. Fot that rate of distance use a trailer for the car as well as for safety....

  2. Trailer is the only way for a front wheel drive.

  3. If auto the wheels have to be off the ground so the tow bar is out> if ground clearance issues> Not may ideas left>

  4. tow bars only work if you have a solid bumper, unfortunately no manufacturer have used real bumpers since the 80's. a trailer is the best way
