  1. Take the M1 which starts at Drumcondra/santry all the way to the border. It'll take 1hr to get to the border sumtyms i get there in 45 mins. But i dunno how long itll take to get from the border to tyrone

  2. Take the Train to Portadown and then cross over to the bus which will bring you to Dungannon.

Portadown is about 12 or so miles to Dungannon.

The Dublin Enterprise train stops in Portadown so it would be about the quickest way to there.  The bus may be the slowest part though.

If money isnt a problem you could take a taxi from the train station in Portadown to Dungannon, which I am sure would cost about £20 or so.

  3. Think you'd be best getting a bus to Belfast and getting the train to Dublin.

  4. Go to AA route planner here: http://www.aaroadwatch.ie/routes/ and just type in the details you need to know....where you're going from and where to.

It will also allow you to go to Tyrone for example via somewhere else like cavan or monaghon or dundalk which would help to get your directions more accurately.

They will give very consice directions to your destination with surprisingly accurate distance and time calculations as well. I use it all the time to find out how to get to awkward destinations.
