  1. Unless you have access to a machining and fabrication shop, you cannot mount a turbo-charger to a rtr160.  Or for another motorcycle unless a complete kit can be purchased from a company that has said facilities.

If you need to go faster, just buy a larger machine.  It will cost less money.

I am a machinist and I would not tackle a project on such a small machine.  There is a limit on horsepower you can extract from a small displacement engine.  And that limit is too low for all the work it would take to add a functional turbo-charging system.

I will ask you a question.  When adding a turbo to an engine do you

    A. Increase compression

    B. Decrease compression

    C. Leave the compression ratio unchanged

    Answer, B. Decrease compression

Look up the answer and learn a bit in the process.

  2. turbo charging will need to improve the engine first you ******** you have to change the ****** pistons the gearbox crankshaft .you a*****e

  3. i don't think it would be wise to turbocharge your rtr...it is possible, but neither the cost nor the end result will be feasible. i would recommend that you wait for a while for the tvs racing kits to hit the shelves. you can buy them off the shelf from your tvs dealer, get it fitted at the showroom itself and get quite amazing performance. there is an unverified claim of 3.2 secs for 0-60 and 9.5 secs for 0-100...top whack should be in the range of 135-140. doesn't that sound better than turbocharging and losing out on the peppiness of the bike?
