I need to use an allergy a/c filter, but the place I moved in to takes a size I can't find. A guy @ Home?

Depot said I could buy a filter (that is 2" longer on one side) and cut it w/ good scissors and tape the cardboard part back on the edge to keep the filter from blowing upward when the air kicks on. Does that really work?

HD can be a great store not as good as it once was  but still not bad  anyway  they cant carry everything in one dept.  go to a hvac outlet they will have your size

Wish you would have mentioned a size  of the old filter..I could find you plenty online within a couple of minutes...

if the filter slides in and is 2" to long just put it in and leave it, to long will not hurt anything
