So if I work at night for eight hours. And I get 5 hours of sleep will that not be good? Or will I get use to the fact that I cant sleep too much. I know p diddy never sleeps and he works all the time. I can also take 2 1hr. naps during the day when my daughter naps.

  1. A recent study that came out not to long ago - actually showed that it's not good for us to be getting 9-10 hours of sleep, that it's actually better to get around 5-6 now.

I have to be at school by 7am, and work till 10pm at night...by the time I'm done with my social life, homework, shower and eating..it's about 2am...that's all the sleep I get - and I'm still running just fine. :)

Make sure you continue to eat healthy or your body will start to shut down on you and you'll find yourself veryyy exhausted at the end of everyday.

You could try an at home babysitting job, since you have kids of your own.

  2. the sound pretty good, but what will you do while your daughter stops napping? There's a period of time between when a child is responsible enough to be left home alone, and when they stop taking naps but ate too immature.

  3. i worked nights for twenty years.  yes you get use to that schedule of little sleep and naps when you can.

  4. I tried this when my kids were little and it didn't work out well for me. It sounded great when I planned it , but eventually I got really run down. If it's just going to be 2-3 nights a week you could probably do it, but full time was really hard for me. First is the adjustment to 3rd shift itself, and there were always days when the kids were sick, doctor/dentist appointments, and then just trying to keep up with grocery shopping, cooking, laundry, errands, etc.... It may work out for you, but you  need to be realistic about it. Good luck to you.

  5. Five is the magic number.

    Naps will help too!

  6. I think it all depends on how much sleep you need.  That's good that you can take naps during the day!  Are you asking for work at home options?  Because i have one if that's what you're asking.  Email me if you wanted to know about that.  But if you just mean working out of the house at night, that sounds good, but then basically you'll just be working 24/7 really without a breather.  :(  But if that's what you need to do then I say go for it!  5 hours of sleep can be enough for some people.  It just depends on your body!  Good luck!
