  1. Im 14 too

My parents are the complete oppisate

im allowed to do what i want when i want with whoever i want

coz their too busy gettin arrested and getting drunk

I think you should just do what you want and keep doing what you want until your parents give you more freedom

  2. Let your parents meet your friends parents........if you're allowed to have a birthday party invite them all and introduce them or in school meetings like report card night or PTA

  3. It is definitely important to build a strong bond between you and your parents. A goal for you is to develop trust and friendship. Be open to your parents, don't lie to them, and prove to them that you can make the right choices and watch out for yourself. Trust them and let them trust you.

Since you're only 13, it still might not be safe to go places alone. That might have to wait until you're maybe 15.

But just talk to them. Let them know how you feel. Assure them that you're a good girl and will stay above the influence. And mean it too. Promise them that you'll be careful, watch out for yourself, and make the right choices.

    Good luck.

  4. There just being overprotective because they love you and don't want anything bad to happen to you. You have to earn their trust, so if they don't know someone's parent introduce them try to compromise and show that you are mature enough to do things without an adult and always be home at the curfew they set for you eventually maybe they'll loosen up.

  5. Their rules are for your safety.  I don't know where you live but there are all kinds of dangers lurking and a 13 year old girl could easily be a victim.  It is best to go out with another person or travel with a companion even if you are 40 years old.  Perhaps your parents would let you make short trips alone if you carried a cell phone with you.

  6. Sounds to me like you have pretty good parents.

  7. my parents are like tht too!! its sooo ****** annoying i wish i cud help but im stuck in the same d**n situation as you are

  8. your parents sound like really good parents. If you want to convince them that you are mature enough to handle more adult situations then you SHOW them. Actions speak louder than words. If they don't know your friends parents go to a movie that everyone would like or an event that everyone can participate in. Then not only could they meet your friends parents but even make new friends of their own! If you want to travel alone or go out alone, well that's a little bit more difficult, and if you don't understand why all you have to do is turn on the news and find that a local 14 year old has been missing for x amount of days. Most kids don't REALLY do those things alone till they are about 16 and can drive themselves anyway. But do your homework and chores without having being asked to. Even do extra work that you don't usually have to do. Just show them you are growing up.
