I need to write a hardship letter to my mortgage company it is to be 2-3 paragraphs i need help

i need to really beef it up in a few paragraphs and dont know where to start.i dont know how detailed or not detailed it should be any suggestions any one that has done this give me some pointers ..any thing is greatly appreciated thanks..

Since you don't say what your financial hardship is (resetting of mortgage, medical bills, lost job, etc.) it is difficult to be detailed or specific.  But perhaps simple is better.  

I am writing to inform you that I am experiencing financial difficulty in keeping current with my present mortgage payments.  I would like to renegotiate the mortgage or revise my payment schedule so that I do not go into arrears or foreclosure.  Please contact me at your earliest convenience at (give phone numbers, email or the means by which you prefer contact) to discuss my options.  Thank you for your consideration, x*x

Heres some help... modify your loan with the american modification agency. they use a hardship letter and have i think like a 98-99% success rate, they really know what they're doing and from previous experience im glad i didnt do it on my own with my mortgage company, its complicated and this agency gets results that my mortgage company could not get.They are a law firm who works for the people.
