I need to write a resume?

But I really don't know how. I'm only a 14 year old, but I'm applying to be a volunteer for he aquarium down the street. I don't know the format of how I'm supposed to type things and what I'm supposed to put on there. HELP!

  1. go to www.pongo.com   They'll let you make one for free and see what it would look like all printed out.  Their catch is that you have to pay to print it, but just seeing the finished product you could probley copy the idea and do it yourself.


  2. write your name (obviously), your phone number, address, email (contact stuff)

    then write what your educational/vocational objectives are (what you want to do)

    then brag about yourself (what kind of education you have, your test scores, notable achievements (like if you won the science fair or if you're like a super soccer player)

    pretty much, if you go to microsoft word, there's a resume wizard and it will help you out.

  3. you can always goggle "how to build a resume" or monster.com or resume.com. i used all three and they are very helpful. it even shows you different formats so you can get an idea. just make sure you make yours stand out and completely different from the rest. you  don't want your resume to be bypassed because its looks like the other five million resume
