I read somewhere that you had to find the common denominator is that true? How? The ten had something that looks like a divison sign over it not the one with 2 dots but theone with a number inside it and outside it

  1. Put them all on the same scale, and its negative to positive in sequencing

    8; 7.5; -2.9; -10

    order is -10, -2.9, 7.5, 8

  2. -10, -2.9, 15/2 and 8. the scale is minus to plus numbers,  the largest minus number is the smallest and the largest plus number is the largest number,

  3. first, you need to simlify and improper fractions. ex. 15/2 would be 7 1/2 b/cause there are 7 twos in 15 with one left over and one is a half of two.

then you gotta put all the fors in the same form. ex. make all of them either decimals, fractions, or whole numbers.

next, you need to see what the largest number is. ex. in a sequence like this: -5, 27.3, 2 1/3.

27.3 is obviously the highest, note it has the most place values with the highest numbers and it is positive. you can also tell that if a number is negative (-) it will most likely be the last in a positive sequence. in an all negative sequence (all the neumbers are negative) the largest number would in turn be the lowest. i know its confusing, but you'll get the hang of it!

  4. Plumbers make a lot of money nowadays. I would suggest that you quit school and train to become a future plumber since you're absolutely worthless in math. I believe I knew the answer to this question when I was 6 years old.

  5. You need to get all of them into the same form. Right now you have decimals and fractions. You can either divide 15 by 2, and get a decimal from there, or turn -2.9 into a fraction.

  6. Yes or just simplify the numbers.

    15/2 = 7.5

Negatives are less than positives so the lowest number is:

    -10 , -2.9 , 15/2 , 8

  7. Ok because I don't know what you are talking about with the -10, nor do I know what grade you are in to figure it out, from least to greatest would be -10, -2.9, 15/2, and 8. (15/2 gives you 7.5.) If you are talking about a square root sign for -10 than the calculator can't find that, I would need the number that is in front of it.

  8. put the fraction in decimal  -10,-2.9,8,15/2 ok

  9. from least  to greatest that would be first -10, then -2.9 then 15/2, and lastly 8... the way you do this is that you find a common factor on them for example convert 15/2 as a whole number and you get 7.5. remember that negative(-) numbers are below zero and should not be mistaken for positive numbers. and if the 10 looked like a division sign then you divide 10 by the number outside in this case -10 divided by whatever number you have... so say its 2. -10 divided by 2 is -5 because when you multiply -5 by 2 you get -10 remember negative X a negative = a positive and anything else is a negative

  10. just divide the one for your example i will give answer to ur example

-10,-2.9,15/2,8 and 15/2 equals 7.5 i said that cause u might think 15/2 is bigger
